I was really pleased to find this package. Your local camera shop is great and all but this would have cost a fortune at the camera shop I normally go to (I went in and did a price check on everything before ordering online).

I won’t be attaching the paperboard bounce that came in the package because I already own a Sto-Fen omni-bounce (from my old 580ex, RIP). I would suggest that anyone who is ordering this package order the omni-bounce as well.

Edit: While I was shooting a wedding the flash stopped working right as I was about to take a picture of the groom adjusting the bride’s father’s tie. The camera locked up (ETTL changed to TTL and the flash wouldn’t go off) and I missed the picture. flash worked again later but continued to lock up the camera at critical moments. When I got home I searched for the cause of the problem and found most people pointing their finger at the cord. If you go to the page where the included cord is being sold, you’ll find a number of reviews complaining of the same problem. The speedlite does not fit onto the cord properly (has to be forced into the locking position) and even when tightened, the other end will slip off the hotshoe if you happen to bump it with your forehead. This is still a great package, but Cameta really needs to include a cord that works with the 580ex ii better.

The Phoenix DZBIS-112iTTL Digital Autofocus Flash works well on my Canon EOS D450 XSi. It’s not as powerful as a Canon Speedlight, but for no more often as I need a flash I can beat the quality or the price.

I got this package on time, and in good shape. The price was alittle to good too be true. And it was. The Flash is what I payed for, cheaply made, but, it works good. The problem showed up when I installed the Hot Cable to My XTi inorder to extend My Flash. The Cable mounting clip got stuck in the Hot Connect on the Camera. The Maker of this part made this plastic slid too thick for the guide on the cameras hot connect. I was able to get it out of the mount,but, I had to have a Camera Guy do it. He said it was just cheaply made. Now I need to find a better made Hot Cable.
